ANA ALPIZAR

Ana A. Alpizar is a Cuban filmmaker, her work as a director, producer, editor and screenwriter has been showcased at festivals worldwide, from Sundance to Cannes. 

Her films predominantly explore family environments, focusing on themes like generational differences and migration. Her short film The Premiere won Best Short Film at the China Women’s Film Festival, among other awards. The Fisherman was part of the Official Selection at Sundance. Since 2020, Ana has worked as an editor on projects for film, television, and commercials.
