Ismail is a Saudi filmmaker who focuses on genre storytelling, with a particular interest in blending emotional depth with suspense and tension. His debut short film, Resurrected, premiered at the Saudi Film Festival in 2022 and went on to earn seven international awards at various film festivals around the world. Currently pursuing an MFA in Film at New York University, Ismail continues to explore and push the boundaries of genre filmmaking, creating work that balances thought-provoking themes with gripping narratives.
