NADIA BEDJ
Nadia Bedj is a New York-based writer, director and cinematographer from Moscow, Russia. After receiving a BA in photojournalism from Moscow State University, Nadia moved to NYC, and in 2016 she was granted a Green Card as an alien of extraordinary ability. Her feature docudrama film "Beware of Dog" premiered at Slamdance 2020. The film was banned in Russia due to its portrayal of an LGBTQ+ story and scenes filmed at Moscow protests against censorship and corruption in 2019.
Nadia is currently an MFA candidate in Film and Television at NYU Tisch School of the Arts, and the recipient of the Black Family Prize for her 2nd year film, “Homesick”.
