OMI ZOLA GUPTA

Omi Zola Gupta is a writer and director born in London and raised in New Delhi. He is interested in a humanist cinema in which multiple belongings are offered a chance to exist and contend. His films have premiered at Sundance, SXSW, Palm Springs ShortsFest, been curated on MUBI and Vimeo Staff Picks, as well as toured institutes such as the Smithsonian, Victoria & Albert Museum, British Film Institute, and Forum des Images. Omi is a Sundance Institute x Adobe Ignite Fellow 2023 and is currently pursuing an MFA at NYU's Graduate Film programme as a BAFTA Pigott Scholar.
