PJ ANNISKETTE

PJ is a filmmaker, raised between Seattle, Washington and Ketchikan, Alaska. Always having had enjoyed movies, he first discovered his passion for filmmaking by attending the Sundance film festival. After obtaining a Bachelors of Arts in cinema studies from Arizona State University, he went on to write film reviews for Slug Magazine. After revisiting some of his own screenplays from ASU, he decided to pursue filmmaking and applied to MFA program at NYU.

His work explores themes of identity, memory, and place, often rooted in the landscapes and relationships that shaped his upbringing. With a background in storytelling and a deep respect for the people and places he films, he focuses on character-driven narratives that highlight quiet, emotional truths.
